There are seasons in business where nothing works the way it should. Your launches flop. Your ads stop performing. Clients cancel. Revenue drops. These are the moments that define you — not the easy times.
I've been through multiple "everything is on fire" seasons. And every single time, the thing that saved me wasn't a clever tactic or a lucky break. It was taking massive, decisive action when everything inside me wanted to hide.
When Things Aren't Working: Diagnosis First
Before you take massive action, make sure you're acting on the right thing. Massive action on the wrong problem is just faster failure.
My diagnostic checklist when things break:
- Offer: Is the market still interested? Has the problem shifted?
- Messaging: Am I speaking to their current pain or their old pain?
- Traffic: Am I reaching enough of the right people?
- Conversion: Are people seeing my offer and not buying? Why?
- Delivery: Am I keeping the clients I get? If not, why are they leaving?
Find the broken link. Then throw massive action at THAT specific problem. Don't scatter your energy across everything at once.
What Massive Action Actually Looks Like
Massive action isn't "thinking really hard about what to do." It's a concentrated burst of high-volume output directed at your biggest problem.
Examples:
- Sales are down? → 10 outreach messages per day for 30 days straight
- Content not working? → Post 3x per day for 2 weeks and test every format
- Funnel broken? → Rebuild it from scratch this week with fresh messaging
- Ads underperforming? → Create and test 20 new ad variations in 5 days
- Lost clients? → Call every past client and ask how you can help them now
Notice the pattern: volume + speed + focus = breakthrough. Not more planning. Not more research. More DOING.
Action Cures Anxiety (Every Time)
When things aren't working, anxiety spikes. You lose sleep. You question everything. And the only cure — the only one that actually works — is action.
I've never felt better about a hard situation by thinking about it more. But I've ALWAYS felt better after taking 3-5 concrete actions toward fixing it. Even if those actions don't immediately solve the problem, the act of moving forward breaks the anxiety cycle.
Stop overthinking and start moving. You can course-correct along the way. You can't course-correct if you're standing still.
The 90-Day Blitz Strategy
When I'm in a hard season, I declare a "90-day blitz" — 90 days of extreme focus and action on the ONE thing that matters most.
Rules of a 90-day blitz:
- Pick ONE focus area (sales, content, funnel, outreach)
- Define daily minimum actions (non-negotiable)
- Track everything (what you did, what resulted)
- Evaluate weekly and adjust tactics (not the focus)
- No quitting before day 90
Every major breakthrough in my business came from a blitz period. Concentrated effort over a defined period produces results that scattered effort over years never will.
Surround Yourself With Other Action Takers

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I take massive action when I'm burned out?
Take 2-3 days of genuine rest first. Then start with reduced but consistent action — maybe 50% of what you'd normally do. Momentum builds energy. But rest first if you're truly depleted.
What if massive action still doesn't produce results?
After 30 days of consistent action with no movement, it's a signal to change your APPROACH, not your effort. The diagnosis might be wrong. Revisit the diagnostic checklist and try a different angle.
How do I maintain massive action long-term?
You don't — massive action is a sprint, not a marathon. Do it for 30-90 days, then settle into a sustainable pace. Use blitz periods strategically, not constantly.
